 Addition: Restaurant tavern & function room

This existing function hall had a rear entrance and limited physical space. In addition to creating a welcoming entrance to the street, the program required new areas for additional function hall space, a tavern, and a 110-seat restaurant. The expansion needed to integrate with the existing space while also organizing the interior circulation to provide easy access, views, and natural flow between the areas. ACS developed a solution that involved creating a focal, street-facing entrance while using interior visual elements, such as an open fireplace, to provide boundaries to the tavern and restaurant areas in ways that defined and connected them. The result enabled private-event space, a separate tavern that complements a beautiful dining area, and a welcoming entrance.
