Existing cast-iron columns uncovered

The historical photos showed a cast-iron storefront facade that once graced Central Street. Acting on this evidence, ACS had a masonry pier opened to reveal the cast iron still intact beneath the circa 1920 stone cladding. The design was immediately changed to re-incorporate these into the refinished façade. photo by: Jay Mason
